MEET YOUR TRAINER
My journey into the world of fitness began because of what I couldn’t do instead of what I could. I was born (and still am) an asthmatic. As a child I was limited in many physical activities from sports to simply running around with other kids. This not only hindered my physical development but my self esteem as well.
As I grew older I slowly made my way into strength training and found that as my body got stronger so did my lungs. I quickly fell in love with the feeling of being stronger, healthier, and more capable, and never looked back. I have since gone on to complete 5 marathons, a 50 kilometer ultramarathon, and several century bicycle rides. I've studied Powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, calisthenics, and hardstyle kettlebell training.
Training, assisting friends, and reading fitness articles became a hobby and then obsession. In 2013 I became certified with the American Council on Exercise as a personal trainer, so I could pursue my passion as a career. In 2017 I became a certified kettlebell instructor through Strong First, the authority on kettlebell training in the world.
As a trainer, I combine the best of old school training and modern fitness techniques to develop individualized plans for each of my clients. While I believe there are exercises everyone should do, I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to training.

YOUR TRAINING SESSIONS
BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION
While other trainers will out you on a run of the mill workout plan, I will work with you to establish a strong base on which to grow. We will improve posture, flexibility, movement quality, breathing, and stability. We will work the basic movement patterns of pushing, pulling, squatting, and hinging.
Just working the basics will help get you leaner and stronger. More importantly, you will injury proof your body, and form good lifting habits to carry over into everyday life.
REACH THE NEXT LEVEL
Here we will focus on more dynamic and challenging movements. You will learn tension and breathing techniques to instantly increase your strength. We will work on developing power as well as pushing past strength and endurance plateaus.
Although you will be torching body fat and adding muscle, you will never chase "the burn". My goal is for you to leave the gym always feeling better than when you came in.
